Great Location

Perfect view with very convenient location for sunrise chasing (30min away). Providing free afternoon tea from 4 to 6 pm and delicious local and western breakfast.

Wi-Fi connection is only in the public area, no Wi-Fi service in the private room.

Pleasant for 1 night overall

The location is quite close to Mt Bromo sunrise view points if interested. The hotel staff were lovely and booked the jeep+driver upon arrival. Breakfast provided and dinner restaurant was good.

Definitely could use a more thorough cleaning and up-keeping.

Great!

It was beautiful and a quick trip to see Mt Bromo! The staff was very helpful and always had suggestions to keep us busy! Great breakfast!

Not sure if the room had a slight odor due to the sulfer from the volcano or if it was the toilet. Nothing overwhelming. Still a great stay and would recommend!

a lot of places to relax and enjoy the scenic view very helpful and friendly staff

The location. The serenity of the place. The great meals provided by the cafeteria and restaurants within the resort.

The room is too cold and there is not radiator or hearer for that.

Awesome!! Family friendly - Highly recommeded

Fantastic hospitality! Friendly staff. Good breakfast spread. The staff delighted us by packing us some free snacks before we headed out to Bromo, this made our day. We went with 2 kids, 3 yr and 8yr old, they loved this place and also wants to visit again :) From a price point, it is on the high side, but it is totally worth it. This place is awesome!! highly recommended!

The food at the restaurant was very good

Maybe they could improve on the cleanliness and improve on the price side as well . I paid more than 4million for a family room.

We love the view and weather also close to Bromo mountain.

Variety of foods ( breakfast ) not too many choices. Recommend to install the TV cable so small kids if not joint to Bromo mountain can watch in cottage.

The banana struddle and coffee

Very slow service. Unresponsive to our request for extra pillow. No wifi in the room. No proper minibar, and they did not refill the minibar either on the second day we are there. The cleaner left plastic bag full of trash in our room. Saggy mattress, very bad for someone with backpain. The window is not properly closed, so cold air can get in from the outside making the room quite chilly at night. No heater in the room. No spa, no gym, with that price tag, we expect more facilities for guests.

The hotel is absolutely charming and decorated with such a good taste. The photo gallery is excellent and I enjoyed the photo especially when we got back from the volcano. Unfortunately we were staying just one night so did not have time to enjoy surrounding. But the pace is excellent and I highly recommend it to everybody

there is no ramp to the building so we had to carry luggage as it was not possible to roll it.

Likely the best place to stay to see Mount Bromo. The village is lovely.

The buffet breakfast was fine. They seemed to have a challenge cooking the omelettes long enough. The coffee was good.

Buffet set up was fine but better service from servers to refill coffee and water and juice. It seemed that the servers were not confident in their jobs.

Great compromise between distance to Bromo and relaxed atmosphere. Very clean, friendly staff

Great location, not crammed amongst all the other properties and homestays of Cemoro Lawang. We loved the cleanliness, look and feel of the place, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely breakfast. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with train bookings following our stay. It was a great place from which to do the Bromo sunrise trek which we did without a tour. Only an hour and a half walk at night from the hotel to our chosen viewing point of Bromo.

the location of the hotel is very good and surrounding place is also beautiful. i like the restaurant place and its view especially sitting outside but there should be little shade.

Location Ambiance Attractive property Friendly staff Despite negative comments later, this property has much going for it.

Very cold at night - accepting that location is high in mountains was expecting it to be tropical but it was uncomfortably cold - some provision should be considered to provide something to keep guests warmer at night. For the cost - felt it required a few more facilities- eg may be a gym or spa to help unwind after Bromo experience. Felt menu options in restaurant were limited
